REGISTRATION
Registration for Master Cicerone Exams will be capped at 24 candidates per exam. We expect to run all future Master Exam registrations by lottery. We will announce the lottery period via email to all eligible individuals. Anyone interested in taking the exam must submit their name for the lottery. We will randomly select names from the lottery pool to fill the exam roster. We will continue with random selection until the pool is exhausted to generate a list of alternates for the exam. Any confirmed candidates will be asked to submit payment within one week or forfeit their spot. Alternates will be emailed that day and notified of their alternate number. In the event that a candidate withdraws from the exam, alternates will be notified in order, and asked to submit payment within one week.

RETAKES
Eligibility for Retaking the Master Cicerone exam shall be based upon the last score you received on the exam.
In the history of the exam, no candidate has improved their score by more than five percent within one year. With that in mind, we have implemented a retake policy to allow any retakers adequate time to prepare between tests based on their score.

If your overall score was:
80-84: Candidate can enter the lottery for any exam run at least 12 months after the date of their prior exam
75-79: Candidate can enter the lottery for any exam run at least 18 months after the date of their prior exam
70-74: Candidate can enter the lottery for any exam run at least 24 months after the date of their prior exam
Less than 70: Candidate can enter the lottery for any exam run at least 30 months after the date of their prior exam.

POSTPONEMENT/RESCHEDULING (effective 11/11/13)
If you postpone your exam registration to a later date, you will be charged a rescheduling fee (50% of your registration).  For any postponement or rescheduling please contact Virginia at Cicerone dot org.
